I first met Melissa at the Gila Valley Bridal Fair in February. She was just so sweet and so cool. Working with her to design her wedding flowers has been a dream because she is just so kind and easy-going. I could tell that her bouquet held a lot of meaning for her, and it was such an honor to incorporate parts of her heritage and family. She knew she wanted succulents for their interest, thistle for her Scottish heritage, and roses to remind her of her grandpa giving her roses as a child. She also wanted lots of texture, which is what Poesy Floral Studio is known for!
Aren't they cute?? I love his airplane tie bar! Kevin is on his way to becoming a pilot, and when I met Melissa she was wearing the sweetest airplane necklace. It's so lovely to see so many personal touches throughout their day.
I just love this picture of Melissa and her mom (not to mention the beautiful detail buttons on Melissa's dress!). I think candid photos are the photos that really tell the story of how much love went into this day.
Congratulations, Melissa and Kevin! It was so lovely to make your wedding flower dreams come to life.
